Data Assist

The Lineos Data Assist feature allows users to analyze and summarize their data within the Bizview Platform application. The Ask Lineos about this data option simplifies the process of identifying trends, detecting anomalies, and uncovering actionable insights directly within the platform. It processes complex data formats and enables real-time decision-making without the need for external tools.

This articles describes how to use the Data Assist and analyze the data in Dashboard, Reports, Forms, Analytics, and Gridforms.

Using Data Assist in Dashboard

The Data Assist service can only be accessed through specific dashareas in Dashboards - charts, pie charts, linear gauges, circular gauges, cards, and grids.

To use the Data Assist in Dashboard:

1. Navigate to the any of the above-mentioned dashareas in the selected Dashboard you wish to analyze.

2. Select Ask Lineos about this data option from the hover menu on the left of the chart or grid.

   The selected data is sent to Lineos for analysis.

3. The Data Assist panel displays the processed results, including trends, anomalies, and other actionable insights derived from the selected data.

4. Repeat the same steps for other dashareas on the Dashboard to analyze additional data.

Using Data Assist in Reports and Forms

The Data Assist in Bizview Reports and Forms helps users analyze data effortlessly within generated reports, forms, and drill-through windows.

To use the Data Assist in Reports and Forms:

1. Navigate to the required Report or Form in the Bizview Platform.

2. Select the data you wish to analyze and right-click on the data to open the context menu.

3. Select Ask Lineos about this data from the context menu.

   The selected data is sent to the Lineos for analysis.

4. The Data Assist panel displays the processed results, including trends, anomalies, and other actionable insights derived from the selected data as shown below.

To analyze data in Drill-through Windows, right-click on the data area, select Drill Through, and when the window appears, select Ask Lineos about this data from the menu bar. The Lineos processes the linked data and displays the results in the Data Assist panel.

1. Navigate to the required Analytics in the Bizview Platform and select the data range you wish to analyze.

2. Select Ask Lineos about this data option from the toolbar.

To use the Data Assist in Gridforms:

1. Navigate to the required Gridforms in the Bizview Platform and select the data range you wish to analyze.

3. The Data Assist panel displays the processed results, including trends, anomalies, and other actionable insights derived from the selected data.

Managing Lineos Settings

Note: If the Lineos toggle is turned off in the system settings, the Ask Lineos about this data option becomes unavailable across Dashboards, Reports, Forms, Analytics, and Gridforms, indicating that AI Assist is disabled.

Users can easily toggle the feature on through the User level settings, ensuring flexibility and control.
